Trek from MARRAKECH to Imlil and Toubkal valley

Departure from Marrakech at 08h30  in the morning  for about  one hour and a half drive up to the south  through  Asni valley , Moulay Brahim Gorges, then Imlil (1740m) ,set in upper level foothills of western high Atlas mountains , a main trailhead  with streams and paths branching out in all directions ,here we leave  our vehicle and meet your  local guide  maybe we’ll have a mint tea before trekking  for 4,5km .towards the south to the Berber village of Aremd (1843m) , passing the hamlets of Ait Souka ,Targa and Imoula ,up and down the stark slopes , the jagged western high atlas  peaks of the Toubkal massive before us Jbels Aguelzim ( 3547m), Aksoual (3847) and the Adrar (3122) watching  us  all the  way. We stop at Aroumd to visit  this rather singular village in the Assif Ait Mizane valley , built seemingly house upon hous on a large moraine spur , overlooking ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley , vegetables and corn surrounding by walnut and almond trees .then we carry on for another half an hour to reach the Berber house in Achayn village  where our lunch will be served ,after a delicious  Berber lunch we walk down to get Imlil then return back to Marrakech
