Marrakech-Kasbah's-Telouat-Ait ben Hadou/ by 4WD

Today’s adventure start at 7h30  pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech  and drive  to the Kasbah of Telouat  about 3h drive ,first stop will be at Zat valley , then you continue your adventure  along  the majestic  beauty of the high Atlas  mountains , through the scenic road of Tizi n’tichka the highest  pass in north Africa (2260 meters ) lush oasis valleys and mountainous  areas highly popular with trekkers ,then you continue to explore the beauty of this  Berber area. After leaving the main road  between Marrakech and Ouarzazate  we will drive about 20km among the valleys  and aok tree into the famous  Kasbah of Telouat ( fortified citadels ) which was made from  earth mixed with water ,sometimes with chopped  straw added . they are pressed into wooden moulds and dried under the sun. the Pasha EL-GLAOUI or lord of the Atlas has employed the most skilled Berber artisans to decorated his Kasbah- palace  where he used to stay deep in the high Atlas  mountains .after the interesting visit of the Kasbah we will leave it behind following the serpent road along the green and flourishing  Asif Ounila valley  bordered  by oleander and fruit trees such as olives ,walnuts ,pomegranates , apples ,pears ,and quinces . lots of Kasbah’s  here  and there in all  of the way  till the fabulous UNESCO world heritage site of  Kasbah Ait ben Hadou, famous for international film makers , before visiting the  Kasbah you will have lunch in one of the local Berber  restaurant , visiting the Kasbah is by foot about  1hour , your local guide will take you and share the fascinating history of Ait  ben Hadou which once served  as the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech ,a few family still living there but most of them now are living  in a more modern village at the other side of the river .after the visit you will return back to Marrakech via Tizi N’Tichka road ,the driver will take you into your accommodation.
